Construction Manager in Vancouver

Job Description

Take charge of construction projects with Townline as a Construction Manager in Vancouver. Oversee from excavation to completion while ensuring quality and cost control for residential developments.

As a Construction Manager reporting to the Director of Construction at Townline, you will manage all project phases across various sites. Your expertise in residential concrete high-rise construction and strong leadership will be essential in developing schedules, budgets, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. You'll work closely with subcontractors and internal teams to guarantee efficient and timely project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create project schedules, budgets, and scopes of work

• Establish Project Charters defining goals and deliverables

• Prepare tender processes and construction schedules

• Manage subcontractors to enforce quality and cost control

• Conduct project post mortems for continuous improvement

Requirements:

• Post-secondary degree in construction management

• 5+ years' experience in high-rise residential construction

• Strong blueprint reading and construction technique knowledge

• Proven management and leadership skills

• Knowledge of compliance regulations in construction

Lead project execution effectively while promoting safety and quality standards as Townline’s Construction Manager.
