Job Description

Join Inworld as a Principal Engineer to build innovative AI-driven infrastructure. This role requires extensive experience in cloud services and backend systems designed for scalability.

We are looking for a Staff/Principal backend engineer with 8+ years of experience and a robust understanding of cloud-based technologies. You will be integral in developing systems that serve consumer-facing AI applications, ensuring scalability and low latency. Your adaptability across tools and programming languages will be essential for success in this role in a startup environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own core backend systems for sophisticated intelligent routing

• Scale API-based services for LLM and Knowledge/RAG needs

• Design low-latency systems for real-time applications

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient product delivery

• Drive architectural decisions affecting ongoing projects

Requirements:

• Minimum 8 years of backend software engineering experience

• Background in startup or growth-stage companies

• Proven delivery of high-scale cloud services

• Familiarity with data pipelines like Flink or Beam

• Technical degree in computer science or related fields
