Wiikwemkoong IT Technician Position

Job Description

Wiikwemkoong Unceded Territory is on the lookout for a motivated IT Technician to enhance their technology services. Focus on providing customer support, managing devices, and maintaining network systems securely.

In this engaging role, you will report directly to the Chief Technology Officer. Your main duties will involve providing comprehensive technical support for desktops and cloud services, managing user accounts, and resolving issues efficiently across various departments. Your input will ensure the implementation of effective backup solutions and disaster recovery strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with technical support for all devices

• Manage Microsoft 365 services including Outlook and Teams

• Maintain network and wireless system connectivity

• Document configurations, support tasks, and assets

• Engage in technology upgrades and installations

Requirements:

• Degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience

• Proficient in Microsoft 365 and Windows systems

• Solid troubleshooting skills for various tech issues

• Strong communication and customer service focus

• Industry certifications are valuable assets
