AECOM Traffic Operations Supervisor

Job Description

Elevate traffic management in Toronto with AECOM as a Traffic Operations Supervisor. Oversee incident management and enhance the efficiency of the City’s transportation network.

In this role, you will lead the Traffic Management Centre, ensuring optimal traffic flow and strategic incident response. Your leadership will guide a team responsible for maintaining public safety and operational excellence in traffic management. Collaborate with emergency services and stakeholders to implement best practices while utilizing data-driven insights for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities: • Manage daily operations of the Traffic Management Centre • Develop and review operational strategies • Lead coordination of major incident responses • Maintain strong communication with partners • Analyze trends and recommend improvements

Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree with 6 years of experience in traffic operations • Experience managing operational teams • Deep understanding of traffic technologies • Familiarity with local transportation policies preferred • Certifications in incident management and first aid are a plus
