The Role
As
Key Account Manager
(reporting to the Country Manager/Senior Director, Zinus Canada), you will be the primary contact for Amazon account, owning the sales, promotional, and marketing strategies across your accounts. Your role is both strategic and hands-on: you will drive sales growth, build strong customer relationships, and unlock opportunities for expansion in one of the most competitive retail categories.
What You’ll Do
Build strong partnerships with buyers and category/marketing teams—becoming their preferred partner.
Own annual sales targets for each account, negotiating terms and conditions.
Develop and implement account-level growth strategies to expand Zinus market share.
Optimize promotions in collaboration with Marketing, Finance, and Operations, ensuring ROI and brand alignment.
Monitor sales, inventory, and forecasts weekly to manage stock levels, reduce out-of-stocks, and avoid overstocking.
Performance & Insights
Analyze account performance, identifying growth opportunities and risks.
Manage customer P&L to measure the impact of initiatives and proposals.
Review sell-in and sell-out data, turning insights into actionable plans.
Monitor online assortment, pricing, and competitor activity to keep Zinus competitive and compliant.
Prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports.
Partner with internal and global teams to ensure accounts are optimized.
Provide weekly reporting and projections to leadership.
Mentor and train new team members when needed.
Support special projects such as product sample delivery or showroom set-up.
What You’ll Bring
Minimum
5 years of experience managing Amazon, Walmart, Wayfair, or other major omnichannel/eCommerce accounts . 1P vendor experience would be a big plus!
Strong negotiation skills and proven experience with
P&L management .
Deep understanding of
eCommerce and omnichannel retail models .
Skilled in
building proposals and presenting
to senior decision-makers.
Knowledge of
direct import and domestic channel operations .
Analytical strength: Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) required; Power BI a plus.
Familiarity with supply/demand planning.
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask.
Bachelor’s degree in eCommerce, Digital Marketing, Business, or a related field.
A proactive, positive “can-do” mindset with openness to feedback and growth.
