Senior Systems Testing/QA Specialist that can take a new initiative from strategy to implementation. Description

Providesadviceonthetestingstrategy,testplans,theselectionoftestingtools,andtheidentificationofresourcesrequiredfortestingPlansandorganizestestingeffortsforlargesystemsinGraphicalUserInterface(GUI)andnon-GraphicalUserInterface(GUI)environments,includingtheexecutionofsystemsintegrationtests,specializedtests,anduseracceptancetesting(e.g.,stresstests)

TheQualityAssuranceSpecialistisresponsibleforthedevelopmentoftestplans,testscriptsandtestcasesandexecutingtheseagainstthevariouscomponents.

ThetesterwillworkwiththetestingleadandITleadofeachprojectaswellastheprojectteammembersintheanalysis,design,development,implementationandongoingsupportoftherequiredsystems

GeneralSkills:Experienceinplanning,organizingandimplementingtestingeffortsatthespecifiedexperiencelevel

Knowledgeofstructuredmethodologiesforthedevelopment,design,implementationandmaintenanceofapplicationsKnowledgeandexperienceintheuseofComputerAidedSoftwareEngineering(CASE)toolsanddataquerytoolstoaidinthedevelopmentoftestcases

KnowledgeandexperienceintheuseofautomatedtesttoolsandversioncontrolsystemsononeormoreplatformsExperienceexecutingfunctionaltests,non-functionaltestsandsystemslevelintegrationtests

ExperiencesupportinguseracceptancetestingandparticipatinginUATactivities

Experiencewithqualityassuranceprinciples,practices,toolsandstructuredmethodologies

Experiencecreatingtestingstrategydocumentation,testplans,testcasesandtestdataforvarioustypesandphasesoftesting,includingtechnicalandbusinessfunctionalvalidation

Experienceinqualityassuranceandtesting,includingunittesting,integrationtesting,loadtesting,performancetesting,etc.

KnowledgeandexperienceinallphasesoftheSystemsDevelopmentLifeCycleExcellentanalytical,problem-solvinganddecision-makingskills

Requirements

Recent(withinlastyear)experienceinsystemstesting.(mostly manual)

Excellentknowledgeofsystemtestingmethodology,executesystemanduseracceptancetests.

Abilitytounderstandandanalyzebusinessrequirements,andsystemsresponsedocuments,todesignandexecutetestplanstoensurethesystemfunctionsandmeetsthebusinessrequirements.

Continuous,significantexperienceasatesterinanWebShpere,Oracle,Javaenvironment.

SignificantexperiencewithSFTS,WebShpere,Javastack,SQLandJCL.
