Project Controls Analyst with Data Expertise

Job Description

Join Aecon as a Project Controls Analyst focusing on data analytics in project management for Utilities projects. This role emphasizes implementing cost control systems and enhancing predictive analysis.

As a Project Controls Analyst under the Director, you'll be responsible for monitoring project performance through detailed data reporting. You'll assist in setting project baselines, train team members on change management, and collaborate across departments for an efficient project workflow. Your analytical skills will ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities: • Maintain project controls systems and reports • Analyze project data for performance improvement • Train staff on cost code structures • Assist in project scheduling and forecasts • Supervise junior project controls analysts

Requirements: • 2 to 3 years of project controls experience • Strong skills in data analytics and reporting • Familiar with cost engineering principles • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or commerce
